Eco 3D-Printed Birdhouses

Saint H's 3D-Printed Birdhouse Has a Simple Waste-Reducing Design

'Hūs' is a simple 3D-printed birdhouse designed by 'Saint H' and prototyped by 'Digits 2 Widgets.' Saint H describes the white birdhouse as "probably the most technically advanced yet uncomplicated birdhouse ever made." The 3D-printed design is made of up three individual parts: the body, roof and small red perch.

Since it is 3D-printed, the birdhouse only needs to be printed when it is in demand, which eliminates material waste and other strains on the manufacturing and delivery processes. Over the long term, these factors are extremely helpful to the environment.

The remarkable 3D-printed birdhouse is currently on display for the Design Museum's 'The Future is Here' exhibition and the London Science Museum's '3D:Printing the Future' exhibition.
