2D or 3D animation? Disney wants to release a traditional hand-drawn animated movie every 2 years. I have had many heated discussions on this topic. I will always be a fan of the traditional 2D look and feel.
My favorites include "Les Triplettes de Belleville," "101 Dalmations," "The Flintstones," and "The Pink Panther." The beauty of a film like Disney’s "Fantasia" or "Sleeping Beauty" can not compare to the cold 3D world of "Ice Age" or "The Incredibles." Disney’s 2D animated film, "The Princess and the Frog" is currently set for release on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2009.
