Haunting VR Elevators

Fanta Created 'The 13th Floor' VR Experience for Halloween

For Halloween this year, Fanta created 'The 13th Floor,' a chilling virtual reality experience that takes viewers on a twisted elevator ride.

As creepy as vampires, ghosts and witches can be, there is nothing more terrifying than finding oneself in a very real, perilous situation that genuinely causes one's fear response to kick in. Whether or not they are claustrophobic, many people are afraid of scenarios that would involve them being trapped inside an elevator that is stuck or broken.

In the 360-degree video for The 13th Floor that has been posted to YouTube, viewers are taken on an elevator ride with an elevator operator who takes them to the underground, with unsettling writing that appears on the doors of the elevator like: "It can hear you," and "It's here."
