The Zotter Mixing Bar packaging concept is about as inventive as the very method of producing each sweet treat. The Zotter Mi-Xing Bar is custom-designed by the consumer himself, enabling him to choose from an extensive assortment of 99 different ingredients.
Christina Hosiner, Tsveti Lyubenova and Katrin Bichler came up with a clever idea for representing the unique recipe of each chocolate bar. They developed an index of color-coded symbols that pertain to various nuts, fruits, spices and types of cocoa flavors. These would be combined into a bold pattern of vivid shapes, as distinctive as the contents of the wrapper. Zotter Mixing Bar packaging even includes some of the geometric icons in the very typeface that's printed across it. The confectionery product and its paper cover complement each other scrumptiously.
