New York City-based designer Meagan Camp has been adjusting to COVID-19 disruptions and the government's "no-nonsense shutdown of nonessential businesses" by implementing Zoom consultations as part of her practice.
Like many businesses of her kind, Meagan Camp has had to put many of her Manhattan projects on hold. The style-minded entrepreneur announced the option of Zoom consultations at $150 per hour and many took note of this. With over 28,000 Instagram followers, the designer has been holding regular sessions and has been able to keep her brand alive.
The Zoom consultations have surely expanded her reach too and "most of her virtual clients have never worked with a designer before." Camp attributes this to the fact that people are stuck at home and are perhaps eager to start renovating their space in order to be more comfortable.
