adidas and Y-3 Unveil the Monochromatic Yuben Mid Shoes
adidas works in collaboration with Yohji Yamamoto's Y-3 luxury brand once again -- this time, the duo unveil two tonal iterations of the Yuben Mid sneaker. The latest options include all-black or off-white throughout, offering minimal tonal selections following the Yuben Low, which made its debut late last year.
The basic design makes the sneaker ultra-versatile and the higher cut draws some inspiration from a classic basketball sneaker. The uppers are predominantly made from soft canvas materials with leather detailing. There is also branding detail informed through embroidery processes in the tonal hues across the lateral side with additional accents on the tongue and the heel. It all sits on top of a rubber cup sole.
