Stone Designs is an interior and produce design studio based in Madrid and it recently presents the new Slim collection of furniture created for Bõln. The team explores the notion of an uncomfortable seat but designs the chairs around a single cushion that can be attached to various bases.
The slim ensures that what appears to be uncomfortable is something left for the past. The Slim series is made from Flexyskin, which is the signature technology by Bõln using plant waste to form soft and plush polyurethane foam. This is also a material that is certified by REDcert with elements that make it recyclable, eco-friendly, and energy-efficient. The most basic form is ergonomic as well, which can be used where a cushion is appropriate.
