Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen is hoping to encourage a greater voter turnout with the launch of a new program on November 3rd, giving its customers in the US the chance to receive a free order of its 'Donut Dippers' after they've cast their ballots.
The promotion will run on Election Day, and can be accessed in-store and online with the purchase of any bowl. Customers can apply the promotion by showing their "I Voted" sticker to employees, or by entering the "IVOTED" code through the chain's app and the Yoshinoya America website.
Yoshinoya America CEO Dar Vasseghi spoke to the update, stating "We believe in the importance of individual expression and providing freedom of choice, whether it be in customizing your favorite bowl, or selecting the future leaders of this country."
