This is Scooter. Scooter is a Maltese Terrier and is just 6 months old; however, he stopped growing at the age of 2 months.
Scooter stands at an astounding 8cm and stretches (if you’ll call it that) to 20cm from his head to his tail. The smallest dog in the world in the Guinness Book of World Records is marked at 10cm, which means Scooter could quite possibly (unless there are any dogs out there under 8cm) be the smallest dog in the world.
His owner, Cheryl McKnight, has made a regular purple sock into a tiny jersey for Scooter so that he is easily identifiable around the house. You wouldn’t want to step on this little guy!
