Women Deliver is an advocacy campaign that was created in 2007 through a conference and has now grown. The idea is to locate private sector investment through its corporate forum for health-focused projects that specifically target women and girls.
In a recent blog for Huff Post Impact, the founder and president of the organization, Jill Sheffield, wrote a piece called "Now Is The Time to Invest in Girls and Women." The Huff Post Impact blog itself is in line with the pinkification of culture (and girl culture) with its rose links and headers. In the blog, she points out specifically the measurements of the MDGs.
