Coachbuilding companies Maggiora and Carrozzeria Viotti have joined forces to create a magnificent interpretation of the classic Willys Interlagos 1960s sportscar. This revived version of the vehicle is equipped with a turbocharged six-cylinder engine that produces 610 horsepower.
110 modernized Interlagos' will be constructed and powered by 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged engines. The six-cylinder boxer will enable the vehicle to zoom from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, making it quicker than the Nissan GTR.
The car is also fitted with an independent front suspension system, which along with the modern powertrain helps keep the vehicle's weight down to just 1,350 kg. Braking is handled by ceramic composite discs.
The revived Willys Interlagos costs $468,029, with production set to commence in Turin, Italy in early 2015.
