The WhistleGPS Tracks Pet Activity and Location
Rahul Kalvapalle — May 22, 2014 — Lifestyle
The WhistleGPS is a pet activity monitor that monitors your pet's daily exercise and also allows you to track its whereabouts using GPS capability. The device connects to a Sigfox network, allowing pet owners to detect their pets through an iOS or Android application for a monthly subscription fee of $5, claimed to be the lowest monthly fee of any GPS pet tracker on the market.
Pet activity and locatoin data can be synced with the company's servers via Bluetooth, WiFi or the Sigfox network. The use of the Sigfox network doubles the WhistleGPS' battery, with each charge now lasting around a week depending on the extent of usage.
The WhistleGPS is available for a special introductory price of $49 until May 28, after which the price will be jacked up to $129.
