The design-your-own sandwich chain Which Wich Superior Sandwiches recently rolled out a new kids menu created with the help of moms and their kids. While most quick service restaurants offer customers a wide range of options to choose from, the kids menus are usually fairly limited. Now Which Wich is giving kids a wider selection of dishes to choose from with its mom-curated menu.
In order to give kids more choices, Which Wich Founder Jeff Sinelli explains that he "recruited a group of dedicated moms from across the Which Wich system to help create a unique menu of kids' wiches." The new kid-friendly sandwiches include Peanut Butter & Jelly, Super Awesome Grilled Cheese, Cheese Pizzawich and the Kidswich. The menu also includes bread-free Rollups for children with gluten-sensitivities. To make the meals more fun, they are served in three-compartment Bento Boxes with room for healthy side dishes such as fresh veggies or fruit.
The new kids menu at Which Wich demonstrates how restaurants can create menu options that not only appeal to children's taste preferences, but are also fun and nutritious.
