The Wear You Live tees hope to encourage conversations about the place in which you are currently living. Created by CityFabric, a company launched last year that focuses on civic-minded projects, these cool, graphic T-shirts not only show the love you hold for your city, but they also could help in stimulating a conscious effort to make it a better place to live in, even if it is on a subconscious, pseudo-propaganda level.
Designed by Matt Tomasulo, a grad student in city and regional planning and landscape architecture at UNC Chapel Hill and NC State as well as the founder of CityFabric, the Wear You Live tees have figureground maps for specific cities such as San Francisco, Manhattan and Boston printed on them. The Wear You Live series has also expanded to pillows, bags and posters.
