Originally developed as a robo-advice website, Wealthify is setting its sight on ethical investments portfolios. The service currently offers five different portfolios of ranging in risks from cautious to adventurous. Each portfolio offered by Wealthify will feature investments in a mixture of exchange-traded funds and mutual funds, all of which place an emphasis on ethical and socially responsible ventures. According to Michelle Pearce, chief investment officer at Wealthify. "We want to democratize investing and give our customers the opportunity to invest in line with their principles."
The decision to launch these portfolios and options were done to cater to two distinct generational groups that understand that their money can affect ethical causes. Designed for both younger investors and baby boomers, these portfolios are incredibly accessible and offer low-risk high-reward investments for as low as £1.
