The WC LINE is Sleek, Contemporary and Urban
Meghan Young — February 27, 2012 — Art & Design
The WC LINE is a set of bathroom necessities that have been given the designer treatment for a more aesthetically pleasing presence. It is comprised of a waste bin, toilet brush and plunger, all of which have been made sleeker and more modern. Nevertheless, they do hold onto their old-school practicality.
Created by Philadelphia-based designer Josh Owen for American studio Kontextur, the WC LINE continues his fascination with urban industrial silhouettes, which began with his Tissue Box. Made out of ultra durable silicone and naturally stylish and sturdy tanoak wood, the WC Line is available in a range of super saturated hues. Its contemporary design is space-conscious, allowing people to place it wherever they please.
