Francois de Vecchis's modern seating object can be placed anywhere. It would enhance boardwalks, gardens, city sidewalks and metropolitan plazas. Such pieces could be easily uprooted to alter outdoor arrangements or provide a little extra sunlight and respite for planters often caught in the shade. The Grupo Hewi Wave Double Bench can contain up to three different types of flowers or trees in its tapering triangular pots, which double as supports for elevating a pair of sitting surfaces.
