The WaterBean is an incredibly portable water filter, created by a company of the same name, that easily converts regular tap water into clean water. The WaterBean contains a coconut carbon filter; when the bottle is shaken and the water inside it swirled around, the coconut carbon filter draws out chemicals and impurities while introducing magnesium, an essential mineral.
The WaterBean's filters can be replaced after two to three months of use by simply popping out the filter bag and snapping a new one in. For added convenience, the filters can be used with numerous kinds of water bottles -- from sports bottles to tumblers -- as long as they have at least 12 ounces carrying capacity.
WaterBean is looking to donate $1 per unit sold to a charitable organization that helps bring clean drinking water to people in underprivileged parts of the world.
