Growing up, if there was a Walking Dead sitcom nestled comfortably in between episodes of Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, I’d be happy as a zombie in fresh human entrails.
Thanks to Matin Atrushi of Matincomedy, we don’t have to imagine the gruesome adventures of Rick and his merry band of survivors as a feel-good sitcom story any longer. Cribbing the standard sitcom intro conventions that were so prevalent in shows like Step by Step and Full House and applying them to the bone-crunching violence of the Walking Dead equals hilarity. From the fun and colorful font, to the clever editing and the smiling faces of the characters makes this Walking Dead sitcom one to watch for on Friday nights right after Boy Meets World.
I can’t wait for the episode featuring the special guest zombies.
