Workspaces tend to have a pretty bad reputation when it comes to design, and Visual Magnetics is working to change that with its new 'Forces' collection. The wall coverings feature illusive designs that are simultaneously attractive and functional thanks to the inclusion of Visual Magnetics dry erase surface around a central row.
Forces was conceived of by Jill Malek, an award-winning designer. The covering is her first project with Visual Magnetics. The design itself features series of parallel pinstripes that angle inward and outward up the wall. At a distance, the effect is one of pulsation, with illusive, almost discombobulating distortions that contrast nicely with the otherwise plain writing surface that is essentially in communal office spaces.
