Sony Unveiled the VISION-S Prototype, a New Electric Car

Sony, the renowned Japanese producer of consumer and professional electronics, gaming, and entertainment technologies, recently expanded its business model with the launch of a new electric car -- the VISION-S Prototype.
The Sony VISION-S Prototype boasts "33 sensors, including a CMOS sensor and a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor (both of which are typically used in cameras) to detect objects and people accurately outside and inside the car."
Additionally, it features a Solid State LiDar that is able to gauge and map the vehicle's surrounding area to avoid any collision sand drive safely. Moreover, the new electric car can reach 0-100 km per hour in only 4.8 seconds.
In regards to in-car entertainment, Sony's VISION-S Prototype includes a panoramic screen in the front and on the dashboard complemented by Sony’s “360 reality audio” surround sound technology.
