MilkCrate, a restaurant based in Edmonton is now offering virtual cooking classes with a professional chef, named Steven Brochu. Additionally, Steven Brochu will pick up all the ingredients, and then safely drop them at the customer's house. Following this, the restaurant will schedule a video call, where the Chef will help the customer as they cook the recipe. Some of the requests the restaurant has received to date include pesto pasta, Beef Wellington as well as sourdough bread. The virtual cooking classes will cost between $40-80 per hour for each household.
Steven Brochu also commented on the state of MilkCrate's operations, "We're just trying to do what we can to keep our small staff on. It's different and we're looking forward to what the world looks like after this as well."
