During Paris Fashion Week, things in the fashion world can often get a little bit tense, with big-name editors taking themselves a touch too seriously and designers stressing out over every little detail, but the Viktor & Rolf Spring 2012 show put an end to all of that.
With models looking like perfect little porcelain dolls surrounded by what looked like hot pink curtains (but were actually "parted yard-long 'skirts' of the singers of the pop duo Brigitte, who performed on a platform high above the runway") and neon-hued lip colors. A-line skirts dominated the Viktor & Rolf Spring 2012 collection, only adding to the adorable feminine aesthetic of the show.
The Viktor & Rolf Spring 2012 collection may have had more of a couture feel than Ready to Wear, but that sense of whimsy is what the Amsterdam-based fashion house is known for, after all.
