Google Released the Shoploop Platform with 90 Second Videos

Area 120, a research and development lab for Google, recently launched a video shopping platform named Shoploop. The video shopping platform will present 90 seconds or fewer videos that allow users to discover new products, as well as check reviews. After watching one of the short videos, viewers can click to purchase the product or save it to purchase at a later time. Shoploop is currently focusing on beauty-related products, like makeup, skincare, and more.

The launch of Shopploop follows the companies current direction, as it has taken interest in shoppable content. Recently Google launched shoppable ads on YouTube. Creating shoppable multimedia content can immediately entice consumers, and providing immediate purchase abilities can increase sales among impulse buyers.
