Aventon, an electric mobility company based in California, has launched a fresh new urban e-bike that is designed to offer a high degree of power and stability to encourage more people to trade four wheels for two.
The 'Pace 500' is an urban e-bike that is equipped with a 500-qatt rear hub motor that enables riders to go about leveraging pedal assist of up to 45 km/h. Furthermore, the degree of pedal assist can be divided across five different levels, so that riders are able to exercise greater choice with respect to how much of their own pedal power they want to put in. With up to 77 km of operability on a full charge, the battery aims to ensure that riders don't have to constantly worry about power levels, and can instead focus on enjoying their ride.
