While it's now becoming much more common to see plant-based and cruelty free products, vegan stores and vegan-friendly restaurants, 'V Marks the Shop' hopes to be Philadelphia's first all-vegan convenience store.
Community, compassion and convenience are the three focuses of the shop, which specializes in ethical and animal-free products. The project comes from a pair of vegans from New York who found themselves feeding off of the vibrant vegan scene in Philadelphia. Dubbed the 'City of Brotherly Love,' the pair imagine that Philadelphia is the perfect city to host this all-vegan convenience store.
In order to bring this vegan shop into reality, a Kickstarter campaign is now being run to help with the acquisition of inventory, supplies and other costs of beginning a business.
