The Vegan Fashion Week in LA Boasts the Theme of Expansion
References: veganfashionweek.org
Vegan Fashion Week is part of an ethical movement that seeks to create awareness and to encourage people in the industry to hold each other accountable in the interest of the environment.
Created by fashion activist, Emmanuelle Rienda, Vegan Fashion Week has seen a few successful shows and is planning its next one to be in April. This season's theme is dubbed 'Expansion' and it constructs its narrative around "the challenges surrounding environment and climate change through the lenses of fashion, ethics, sustainability, and animal rights." Naturally, all of the looks on the catwalk will be made with alternatives for fur, leather, silk, and wool.
Vegan Fashion Week 2020 is expected to boast a designer showroom, a panel series, as well as the collective fashion show.
