Heura Foods and the Spain-based restaurant chain Rodilla have partnered to offer diners a vegan chicken sandwich in a bid to provide customers with a delicious yet sustainable option.
The sandwich starts off with wholemeal bread along with a chickpea spread, vegan mayo, plant-based chicken from Heura, mustard, parsley and gherkins. The sandwich offers a satiating taste and texture, which is similar to a chicken salad sandwich, which allows the ingredients to easily pass as real meat. Customers can find the sandwich starting November 5, 2024 at 120 locations throughout Spain.
