London-based creative Jan Hendzel completely reimagines the valet stand design with a special chic collection that was developed for a newly renovated hotel in Hertfordshire, England. The institution is a Georgian mansion that was converted by Red Deer into "a contemporary retreat [with] [...] a co-working space, two restaurants, a ceramics workshop, and a bakery."
Jan Hendzel's valet stand designs are handcrafted, each one unique in its form. The creative collaborated with other designers, a metalsmith, and a ceramicist in order to complete the stands. Not only is the furniture pieces quite striking aesthetically speaking, but they also lend themselves to multifunctionality--one can hang coats, drop loose change, or even store a mobile phone, jewelry, and more.
