UZU Architects worked on the 'Cross House' in Kyoto, ensuring that the place made the most of the nearby mountain view. As such, the building is structured facing the stunning naturalistic landscape, and makes sure that the views are not obstructed in any way.
One of the owners is also a chef, so the necessary steps were taken to make a kitchen that suited this cooking lifestyle. The design is very open with a high roof, which makes the interior look that much more spacious. The main material used for the design was timber, making the house blend in well with the surrounding forested area.
The abode is for a family, who are sure to enjoy being surrounded by nature on a daily basis.
