Wallpaper Number One (2006) by Shannon Wright takes an obsession with the anatomy to new heights. I would love to have some, but if I did I know I would hate it. It would always guarantee a talking point, however.
The urinary tract wallpaper does have a very retro feel so maybe from afar you would not immediately realize what it is. If you half close your eyes and squint, it also looks like flowers.
Implications - Now, I'll be a first to admit: this is more than a little odd. But Shannon Wright's display of healthy human urinary tracts is comedic, and a fitting tribute to a friend who suggested Wright make art that is about his hypochondria.
Mission complete.
