The Paris 'Kube' Hotel is Temporary but Tres Chic
This is one super stylish, temporary ice hotel! Situated in Paris, France, it is called the “Kube” and will be open until March 21, 2009.
I adore the hotel concept and design and love the fact that you don’t have to travel to arctic countries to know or experience the joy / hell of an ice hotel.
Michel Amann, a world champion ice sculptor, is the man behind the design which keeps the rooms at a constant temperature of minus 10 degrees. While the mattresses are made of ice, guests are given a polar duvet!
