Designed by Suyama Peterson Deguchi for a retired couple who has been living in the area for 26 years, the Urban Cabin looks like a modern version of what many people imagine fairy tale houses to look like.
The house mixes modern elements, but the large windows and beautiful view ensures that the couple can see their beautiful garden around it. The inspiration behind the house was "a primitive picnic shelter in a forest," however the final result is nothing but primitive -- with its clean minimalist features, glass walls and modern interior.
The romantic air of this urban cabin is what gives it its "storybook" appeal and the resulting effect is what looks like a fairy tale cottage but for the digital age.
