Italian creative studio 'Mathery' creates a series of unusual pictures for its project 'Together.' The photos show subjects with their clothing and limbs fused together, as well as objects that stand alone.
The studio works to explore the possibilities that have been set out for the everyday and transforms them to be humorous and make its viewers think. The collection of unusual pictures shows a woman lounging in bed wearing a face mask as she holds up a selfie stick, with her legs connected to one another to form an oval shape. Although walking with the odd lower body would be impossible, considering she doesn't have feet at all, Mathery includes a pair of heels beside her. Another image shows a sunburnt man holding what looks to be yogurt and wearing a baseball cap that has its brim extended in a continuous loop.
With this, the pictures work to show objects with a set function have its usefulness lost, with the woman's shoes unusable and the man's hat not able to protect him from the sun.
