Slancha Curated the Under One Roof Exhibition in Glasglow
Amy Duong — August 30, 2024 — Art & Design
Design platform Slancha has created the Under One Roof exhibition, which is a furniture and homeware show taking place in Glasglow. The show shines a spotlight on 14 emerging Scottish designers and this marks the first-ever exhibition to come from Slancha -- which is run by designers Harvey Everson and Findlay MacDonald. The two hand-picked a range of designs including lighting, ceramics, and furniture that bring attention to material and form.
MacDonald shares, "This event has brought such an energy to the designers and the local design scene. We've had so many people express a desire for more events like this, which really highlights there's a strong appetite for design in Scotland. Our hope is to keep building on this collective energy, maintaining the momentum while inspiring more people to design and create here in Scotland."
