I love the concept behind the Ugly Duckling Lamp. (This may be because it is named after one of my favorite fairy tales.) Made out of 'ugly' material, this unique fixture becomes a beautiful 'swan' light that illuminates even the darkest corners of one's life.
Created by Hong Kong-based designer Kamric To, the Ugly Duckling Lamp is made out of PVC piping and plastic soda bottles. With its elegant and graceful lines, it surely does look swan-like.
