In partnership with Cornershop, Uber is introducing Uber Grocery across select cities in Latin America and Canada—as well as select United States cities later this month. This new grocery delivery service gives Uber and Uber Eats app users the ability to place an order so that it can be fulfilled by a Cornershop team member.
Just last year, headlines reported that online grocery shopping services have been slow to catch on but much has changed over the span of a few months. As Uber says, "Over the last six months, it’s become increasingly clear that grocery delivery is not only popular but often a necessity. We expect to see this trend continue as people across the world look for new ways to save time and stay safe."
