Adidas Tubular Sneakers are Given a New Look for Chinese New Year

In anticipation of the impending Chinese New Year, German sportswear brand Adidas has refashioned three pairs of their Tubular sneakers in honor of the holiday.
With less than a month away until the official Year of the Monkey begins, the brand famous for its three stripes has released a Chinese New Year-themed pack featuring the Tubular Doom, the Tubular Runner and the Tubular X. The popular silhouettes have been redone in a bright red colorway -- China's traditional color which symbolizes luck -- with contrasting white soles and minimal gold accents on the aglets and eyelets. In honor of the coming year's zodiac, the Tubular sneakers also feature heel counters which have been embossed with monkey faces.
Interested consumers can expect this celebratory collection to drop on January 23rd, 2016.
