This Traveling Art Show Displays Artwork on Street Walls
Cadhla Gray — October 19, 2015 — Art & Design
A pair of Brazilian artists came up with a way to display their animations through a traveling art show propelled by their own tricycles. Attached to each trike were speakers and projectors that projected their drawings, animations and poetry onto city streets, sidewalks and walls while they pedaled along. Stopping for crowds or interested children, the two artists attracted attention to their art through this creative, moving method.
Colorful child-like drawings of astronauts, animals and people were displayed for people to run beside, touch and interact with. While art is hard to bring to streets in the first place, animation is especially difficult. With this traveling art show however, their work was able to be spread and shared with the local community.
