Quantas Will Buy Americans a Passport If They Travel to Australia
Ellen Smith — October 31, 2017 — Lifestyle
Quantas is encouraging American's to travel to Australia in a recent marketing campaign, by offering to pay for customer's new passports.
The recent promotion was devised in response to the fact that a vast amount of Americans don't have a valid passport. That, coupled with the fact that Australia was listed as one of the top five places surveyed Americans wish to visit in the next four years, made the continent the ideal vacation spot to promote. With this campaign, the company is hoping to attract even those with passports, as the $135 discount offering can be applied to the cost of travel, instead of a new passport.
Quantas' passport promotion also coincides with the airlines' new non-stop trips from Australia to various U.S cities.
