The World Trade Center Transit Hub in New York City recently opened up to commuters and the controversial addition has been beautifully captured by Celine Grouard of Fast Company. Entering the soaring space well before the morning rush, she captured a series of stunning imagery that has since been strung together as an impressive photo essay.
With a cost of $4 billion (nearly $2 billion over budget), the World Trade Center Transit Hub skeletal train station nevertheless brings a striking visual component to the city's already celebrate skyline. Although clearly still under construction, the transit hub does the city proud on a variety of levels -- mainly that meant to pay tribute to what once stood there.
