The ToyTown Coupe is going to be on every child's wish list this Christmas. We all wanted a Little Tikes' Cozy Coupe to drive around in the summer with. I know it was on my wish list as a child. Who could forget the red plastic, yellow-roofed model car that drove around every sidewalk by young children everywhere? The toy car has been transformed into a street legal vehicle, thanks to some mechanics. The best part about this transformation is that the car may help to raise money for charity.
John Bitmead is a mechanic in Oxfordshire, England. He spent about $6,600 to refurbish this toy vehicle. After 1,000 hours and five months he had created a masterpiece. The toy car now runs off unleaded gasoline and it can go 0 to 60 MPH in about seven seconds. This is definitely an upgrade from the foot pedal. John got some help from friends and family to create this one-of-a-kind toy car.
