Vintage toys of the 60s are a far cry from what people can expect to be buying for their kids today, but Xinyi L was still tasked with the challenge of coming up with a packaging design for these older items.
The collection comes with older toys along with an instruction manual to outline how the various games are played. Unless one is playing with their parents, knowing the rules to these older pastimes could be a difficult challenge. In terms of packaging for these toys of the 60s, Xinyi L used a colorblocked look featuring blue and beige hues. The packaging even looks like it could be from the same era, which is exactly what the graphic designer was aiming for with this design.
