Towel animals have graced many hotel rooms, but nothing quite like this one. It would be quite alarming to spot one of Zoë Ikin's 'Tea Towel Chickens' on a freshly made bed.
Thankfully, these were items exclusively designed by Ikin as take-home gifts for attendees of the Fisher & Paykel sales conference. The unique gift was neatly folded into a chicken shape and packaged in plastic wrap, as if it had just been purchased fresh from the grocery store. Although odd, it is certain that recipients have never been given a tea towel that takes on the shape of a chicken before.
The tea towel is a light shade of pink -- like uncooked chicken flesh -- and printed with instructions to teach the user how to fold and twist the towel into the shape of a chicken.
