Nicole Chia — January 27, 2009 — World
The city of New York and Google have paired up to bring a new high tech tourist center to the Big Apple which will contain many interactive Google maps. Visitors will be able to browse the city on Google Maps-powered interactive tables while having the option to print itineraries and even go on virtual tours. The program which powers the new tourist center will be NYCGo.com.
NYCGo.com contains not just Google Map and search data, but also travel deals from Travelocity and local content from what-to-do powerhouse Time Out New York, nightlife culture magazine Paper, the New York Observer, and eco-living guide Greenopia.
