JBL Announced the 'Tour Pro 2' Earbuds with a Smart Panel

JBL announced its upcoming pair of wireless earbuds titled the 'Tour Pro 2.' These earbuds innovate on the traditional earbud model by not only having a case that doubles as a charger, but a case that triples as its own smart device. The Tour Pro 2's charging case connects to a mobile phone via Bluetooth 5.2, essentially allowing the case to act as a smartwatch.
As for its concrete features, the Tour Pro 2's case lets the user adjust volume levels, enable or disable Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), read social media messages and text messages, adjust the current media playback, and even answer incoming calls, all without requiring the user to take out their smartphone.
While it may seem like these smart features take away from the battery life of the device, JBL stated that the Tour Pro 2 offers 32 hours of battery life combined with the case, or six hours on the earbuds alone per full charge.
