Currently a project via the funding website Kickstarter, the 'RydeSafe Reflective Bike Decals' by Tonky Designs are practical and decorative. After suffering a bike accident, Anthony Clune, member of the studio, decided to find a product that will make bicycles more visible at night.
The results are these bright and reflective stickers. The personalized product comes as a DIY kit and, judging by the video, it's pretty simply to put it on cruisers. One only needs to remove dust and dirt from the bike's wheels and frame, and then cover them up with the decals. When the lights are gone, the whole vehicle's frame becomes illuminated, signalling to other cars and pedestrians its presence on the roads.
