The TIPA Design is Made with a Chamber of Mirrors to Maximize Energy
References: kickstarter & yankodesign
The TIPA Design tackles a sustainable energy collection with a three-dimensional design using a chamber of mirrors. Due to this unique structure, it is able to multiply its solar panel effectiveness with the parabolic mirror which aids the maximum source of solar energy.
The TIPA is a small and modular design that can be used as a personal accessory on its own or scaled to be a part of an entire energy system to fuel devices such as an RV. The TIPA has a hexagonal look that features a conical Fresnel lens on top to catch the sun and trap it inside the design. Within the TIPA are six vertical solar panels and a small reflector plate resting at the bottom. When sunlight beams reach inside, it bounces and absorbs into every panel.
