Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo, will run three Super Bowl ads for the first time to promote its various snack brands including, Doritos and Cheetos.
Frito-Lay is leveraging high profile athletes for its three Super Bowl ads including former NFL players Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Troy Aikman, Dion Sanders and more. This new campaign marks the largest number of NFL athletes to appear in a PepsiCo ad. The new ads will be promoting various products including Doritos 3D Crunch, which is a new snack product the company launched last month, and also Cheetos Crunch Pop Mix, which was a new product under Frito-Lay’s Cheetos banner.
The new ads come at a time when PepsiCo is investing significantly in advertising around the Super Bowl, and the company is also sponsoring the halftime show.
