The Thorsten Schmidtkord "Head on Top" Photo Series

At first glance the Thorsten Schmidtkord "Head on Top" photo series kind of freaked me out. but once my eyes adjusted to what was going on, it was pure enjoyment.
The Thorsten Schmidtkord "Head on Top" project switches up the facial features of the subjects, by putting the top of their heads on the bottom of the image. The eyes and noses are left where you expect them to be. Mouths however are M.I.A.
Implications - Modern society offers so many abstract designs that consumers are only looking for the most cutting edge ones. Products that feature a unconventional aesthetic appeal to those who want to stand out from the crowd.
